Intellipoint Mouse Driver
The software should have come with your intellipoint mouse or compatable device. The drivers for it are also on the W98 SE cd. Just use winzip or another program you can view archives with. It's located in one of the .cab files in the installation files. I can't remember which one, but it is there. hope this helps.

Explorer single click produces double click
After I deactivated Intellipoint, my control of the start menu delay thru the MenuShowDelay key was regained. Since I wanted the Intellipoint's "snap to" feature without the menu delay bug, several people on this newsgroup suggested using the Logitech mouse driver since it has an equivalent "SmartMove" feature.

bought a MS Intellimouse Optical USB and mouse port (LED's and middle switch, wheel). I downloaded the Intellipoint 4.01 software for it, latest version. Remove the mouse and all drivers( software) . Reboot and windows will find and install the mouse and you can then install the 4.01 software. Eric Booth.
